Partner Rules
[Introduction]
Optibide partners must strictly comply with the following principles.
[Accommodations]
- One-time Proposal Principle: For the same request, accommodations may only make a price proposal once. After submission, the price and conditions cannot be changed.
- Total Amount Principle: No additional fees can be charged at check-in beyond the amount presented to the customer.
- Additional Cost Disclosure Principle: Any additional costs not requested by the customer must be clearly disclosed.
- Inclusion/Exclusion Disclosure Principle: Options not included (e.g., parking, lounge, swimming pool, spa) must be clearly indicated.
- Room Type Assignment Responsibility Principle: The booked room type must be guaranteed. Upgrades are allowed, but downgrades are not permitted.
- Actual Availability Guarantee Principle: The accommodation must guarantee actual availability of the room at the time of customer check-in.
- Immediate Confirmation Guarantee Principle: Once the customer makes payment, the reservation must be confirmed immediately.
- Non-Cancellation Guarantee Principle: Accommodations cannot unilaterally cancel after the customer’s payment.
- Deposit Disclosure Principle: If the accommodation policy requires a deposit, it must be specified.
- Non-Discrimination Principle: Optibide customers must not be discriminated against compared to customers from other channels.
[Activities & Car Rentals]
- Accuracy Principle: Details such as date, usage time, location, age restrictions, and inclusions/exclusions must be specified.
- Total Amount Principle: The total amount payable by the customer must be clearly stated, and no extra charges may be required during use. However, if the customer chooses additional on-site options, this can be arranged in agreement with the customer.
- Reservation Confirmation Guarantee Principle: Partners cannot unilaterally cancel after customer payment. In case of natural disasters, cancellation must be notified to Optibide at least one day before the scheduled use.
[Travel Agencies]
- Accuracy of Product Description Principle: Package tour descriptions must match the actual travel experience.
- Total Amount Principle: The total amount for the travel options selected by the customer must be indicated, and no additional on-site charges may be imposed.
- Ban on Forced Additional Options Principle: Travel agencies must not force customers to purchase options not included in the Optibide-determined package. However, at the customer’s request, additional options can be arranged through mutual agreement.
- No Unilateral Itinerary Change Principle: Sold package tours cannot be changed to another package unilaterally by the partner. In case of natural disasters, changes may be made with the customer’s consent through mutual agreement.
- Cancellation & Refund Notice Principle: The cancellation and refund policy must comply with the travel partner’s regulations and be clearly explained to the customer in advance.
